10-Minute Cranberry Sauce

Posted By: Eli   On: 11/11/2010   Under:  Recipes

1 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups water
1 lb. (4 cups) cranberries

Boil sugar and water together for 5 minutes. Add cranberries and boil without stirring until all the skins pop open (about 5 minutes).

Remove from heat and allow the sauce to remain in the pan until cool. 1 pound of cranberries makes 2 1/2 pounds of cranberry sauce.

When sauce has cooled, taste and adjust for sweetness.

These Kosher ingredients and anything else you can imagine in a Kosher aisle can all be found on AviGlatt.com
